Cross the Solent from Portsmouth to Fishbourne (35 minutes). Break for lunch in the resort of Shanklin. Later follow the coast road via the dramatic scenery of the west of the island to the yachting haven of Yarmouth, breaking for tea. Average home time 8-9pm.
